We are human “beings,” but often we think we are humans “doing.” In this modern day and age, we all run around like chickens with our heads cut off, on our cell phones all the time and constantly moving from one thing to another. This has HUGE repercussions on our bodies and our health. Our bodies need time for rest and there is a season for everything. You can’t be in GO mode 100% of the time. This includes how you exercise. So check out this video for some tips on how to slow down so you don’t hit the inevitable burn out that happens from constant action.
I hit burn out and ended up in stage 4 adrenal fatigue. It is a thing and it really affects you. I basically slept for 10-12 hours a day and still didn’t feel rested. It was horrible. I had to learn the hard way to take time every day to care for my body, to slow down and to do nourishing things that fill up my cup.
